COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Info: www.babbierproevers.be.

Bright blond colour. Aroma is a bit of sour yeast. This comes through in the flavour too. Texture is quite smooth but feels a bit too watery. Aftertaste is slightly medicinal.

draft sample @ 5de Brugs Bier festival. Dorée, col blanc épais. I guess a warming palate when you are drinking this outside and it’s -12°c.

21/07/2011 75cl bottle @ home - BB: 2012 (2011-342)

Pretty cloudy yellow to light orange beer, creamy white head, solid and bit adhesive. Aroma: candi sugar, spicy hops, cookies, orange zest. MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: fruity start, bitter hops, oranges, some fruits, sugar, citrus. Aftertaste: little citrus, zest, candi sugar, oranges again. Looks like the beer is starting to age, but it’s still holding. Probably much less hoppy than it used to be.

330ml bottle at Cambrinus. White, lacing-head. Yellow coloured body. Smell of sweet hoppy fruits. Honey sweet with fruity hops in flavour. Spiced hops towards the ending. Some alcohol to the tail. Rather tasty (Brugge, 03.05.2011).
