Bottled. Hazy orange colour with big slightly off-white head. Aroma is spices, fruits, nuts and some fudgeish notes. Flavour is nuts, fruits, some sugary notes as well as some grassy- and earthyness. Aftertaste is nutty, fruity, toffeeish and mildly earthy in a pleasant mix.

(Bottle, BB 13/06/08) Pours a lightly hazy golden body with a large rocky white head and excellent webbed lacing. Aroma of grass, floral, buttermilk, and light spices. Flavor of grassy/floral hosp, candi sugar, spicy yeast, and apple with a dry finish.

Bottle in Brussels. Duvel-like blond, a bit cloudy. Not as sweet as Duvel, though, there is a fruity element down there that is not too pleasant. But overall it is quite ok.

from belgianshop.com - cloudy golden-orange colourwith a solid creamy white head; nice lace; aroma of cinnamon, candi sugar and grapefruit; medium-bodied, some sweetness before an acidic/bitter finish; some residual sugars, moderate aftertaste of orange peel - pleasant though unspectacular

Bottle. Citric fruit aroma. Hazy yellow colour. Nice, big, creamy stable white head. Slightly fruity flavour with a good breadiness. Not a powerful flavour, but nice and very drinkable.

Bottle, 33cl. Cloudy, golden color, white head. Aromas of hops, citrus, honey and yeasty. Medium to full body. Complex but niced brewed stuff. Taste more than just the 6,5%. LOVE THIS !

25/05/06. Brugges. Similar characters to the Brugse Zot that I just rated but with a touch more spice, murky and not quite golden. Alcohol on the nose.
