Babes Amber Ale

Crystal Clear Amber. white head. Malty aroma. First taste light, watery but refreshing. Bitter finish but not a hop bitternes more a dark grain bitterness.

I originally came to rate this as a poor beer in my opinion but then I read the description above and it is exactly what they said ,"Light in body with a fruity bouquet. Just enough crystal malt to give it that gorgeous amber/reddish color. We balanced enough hops so that this brew doesn’t have a bitter flavor. So with that in mind you cannot give a bad rating if that is what they intended...It would be like dinging a Hefe because it was cloudy and had a clove flavor. sO I’ll rate bsaed on their description.

Clear reddish amber, moderate head formation. Sweet candy malt aroma balanced by a toasty nuttiness. Sweet crystal malts, light toffeeish flavor, nutty dryness with mild bitterness in the aftertaste.
