Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pours a very dark red colour, no real head, good raspberry aroma, the taste sweet at first then goes sour with a huge raspberry dry finish.

Pours clear deep dark red color with a small head. Aroma of very sweet strawberries and raspberries, some wooden notes, yeast and mild floral notes. Flavor of sweet raspberries, strawberries, mild sugar, grassy notes and hints of rose hip. Way too sweet, less sugar and more sour would be my preference.

Bottle from Alko. Dark ruby color, white head. Sweet taste with much rasberry, flowers and herbs. Smooth, a bit sour finish. Good, easy-going Framboise.

Aroma is slightly sweet and somewhat floury with raspberry juice. Flavour is slightly tart and a bit messy with raspberry juice and hints of licorice. Sticky finish. Does not feel very sour or ”wild”. Not my thing, too much juice here.

Draught @ BPW, Antwerp. Dark red coloured beer with almost no carbonation and a small pink head. Sweet cherry aroma with some artificial hints. Medium to full palate. Finish is sweet cherry and fruity hinted, but not too sweet. Ok.

Thin white head. Clear red pour. Raspberry aroma and aftertaste but not overdone.

Not as good as the cherry version. The raspberry flavour gives it more sourness than sweetness and the bitter kick at the end is missing. So somehow less complex in flavour. Still a very nice refreshing alternative to beer or cider. Rather like a good rose wine.

Bottle. Dark red color. Very thin pinkish head. Some lacing. Fruits, sweet raspberry dominates aroma. Medium carbonation. Sweet palate, raspberries, fruits in flavor. Quite easy to drink.

On tap and on bottle. Quite an enjoyable summer beer, great for sipping in the sun! Quite a strong fruity aroma, lightly carbonated yet fizzy body with a full on berry taste and an overall feeling of a fruit beer... Overall an enjoyable, light and fruity beer!
