Van Honsebrouck is a family owned brewery in West Flanders Belgium. It makes a range if beers including Bacchus, a beer in the local style of the region. It is on this beer that the kriek and framboise is based, a premium fruit beer for which Belgium is well known. Hand wrapped and presented in half champagne bottles. This is a remarkable beer.

Nice fruity beer. Actually not a big fan of them, but this one goes down nicely. Although i liked the cherry version even more from Bacchus.

Interesting syrup-ish sour brew. Aroma very off... nothing like fruity... Taste was way more better... sour like, syrup-ish as I mentioned... lacking something... too synthetic for my taste..

Very deep red with a pink head. Smells of raspberries - fresh, hairy, sweet, tart. And really it tastes mostly of berries too, but that’s fine. There’s a little apricot stone and some red wine vinegar. Some more woody and tart beer flavours are evident as it warms a tad. A little on the sweet side but nice enough.

37.5cl Bottle from drankgigant.nl. Dark brown colour, thin but dense creamy light-beige head. Aroma of raspberries, wood, some Flemish Red sourness, red fruits, artificial sweetener. Flavour is sweet and sour, zure matten, raspberries, artificial sweetener, wood, light bitterness, sweet and sour finish. Light bodied. Nice, but the Stevia sweetness is a bit too much at times.

Backlog from 2015/04/27.

@ Bryssel 15-10-30: Riktig söt och på gränsen till sylt. Toner av hallon - allt för obalaserad.

Bottle from Bier Tempel. Reddish with a medium head. Very sweet with raspberries and jam. The body was light. Well, well.

Bottle. Deep ruby-brown pour with a tan head. Aroma is black cherry, fairly sweet, a little creamy. Taste is a little sweet, a little tart, nice black cherry but not much else. Pretty simple and light bodied, but not bad.
