Láhev 375 ml. Aroma je krásně silně malinové. Pěna je vysoká, mocca barvy, jemná a držící. Barva samotného piva je tmavší rubínová. Chuť má příjemný malinový střed s nakyslým okrajem, finiš je ovocně nahořklý a nedržící. Jedná se o velmi příjemné pivo sladší chuti, osvěžující a velmi dobře pitelné.

Pours out in a hazy ruby colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of raspberry syrup and ripe berries. Taste of mild but fresh raspberries, and that’s pretty much it. Perfect beer for a hot summer’s day, but you could easily drink some raspberry juice instead.

Sweet and sour raspberry beer. Papery bottle wrap gives a good impression but the beer is indifferent from other fruit beers.

Spontaneous purchase from Järve Selver in Tallinn (375 ml / € 4.09). Too bad about so much paper going to waste... Anyway, BB in 2016. It pours a murky brownish red with a nice ruby hue. Small bubbles rising still after a while. The head’s very light beige (not even a hint of pink) and not very big but retains and laces nicely. The nose is rather enjoyable with home-made raspberry jam with very little tartness, but somehow feels stale and flat and kind of artificial. Taste is quite tart and very sugary. Nice raspberry flavour. Mediumish body - slightly watery even - with modest carbonation. Finishes stale. An easy-drinker, I’m quite fond of this despite some of the negative aspects.

backlog rating, had this a while back, poured a deep red colour with a pink head, sweet raspberries in the nose, cherry, sweet sugar, lighy acid sourness, medium carbonated, bit sweet in the finish

pours almost clear nice burgundy purple with a nice pink-purple head, nicely lacing. over ripened raspberries, cherries, raspberry vinegar, sweet tarts*TM, grassy leafiness, brown sugar and plum juice concentrate sweetness, spices. average carbonation, light body; lightly tart - low acetic, sweet but not cloying spicy finish. not overly complex and sugar hinders tartness and drinkability but it is definitely more drinkable than many other sweetened fruit lambic. dessert companion - enjoyed with the missus!

Dogbrick (9181) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 15, 2015
Bottle at Winking Lizard. The beer pours a dark reddish-brown color with a medium frothy off-white head that recedes quickly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of cherries, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with a mildly tart cherry character and notes of earthy yeast and sweet malt. The finish is fruity with a short mildly sour cherry aftertaste. Decent overall, but not worth the $10 for a 375mL.
