(37.5cl bottle best by 8-18-11 thanks to bu11zeye) clear rich red with soapy tan bubbles. Nose of raspberry puree, sweet, and syrupy. Taste of artificial raspberry, pipe tobacco, sugary, and a bit earthy. Slightly dry, artificially sweet and well carbonated finish.

Pink grapefruit-coloured, medium head over deep red beer with a brownish sheen. Heavy, syrupy-sweet smelling, raspberry jam, raspberry juice. Nearly tart, sweetish-sourish flavour; raspberries, but rather like pressed, concentrated juice, jelly or jam. Not an artificial impression, however. Feels rather well-carbonated; fruit-filled, nearly refreshing when served cold. Surprisingly better than expected. Just the nose keeps disappointing, as well as this filament of syrup propping up all the time.

Muito boa cerveja com suco de framboesa. Delicioso aroma e belíssima aparência púrpura, um pouco mais ácida do que deveria ser. Ainda sim uma boa cerveja.

Bottle, from Sainsburys Grimsby. Deep cherry red, thin shortlived off white head and moderate condition. Dominant sweet raspberry in the nose, quite soft in the mouth with a muted raspberry sweetness that has a slight bitterness lurking in the background, sweet and fruity finish with a vague suggestion of soapiness

On tap. A deep red with light pinkish fluff. Heavy scent like raspberry pop and sweets which mellows to boiled sweets and fresh juice in the mouth. It’s tangy and refreshing rather than overly sour and there’s a nice malty beer kick.

Slightly hazy brown with rosy notes and an off-white head that stayed momentarily. First, foremost and ultimately is the aroma of raspberries. There isn’t much beyond that, but it isn’t necessarily and bad thing as it smells inviting. Tastes sweet and juicy with good mouthfeel and enduring flavour. You know what you’re going to get when you buy a beer like this and it delivers.

One of my favorite raspberry beers. Never too sweet, balanced and very drinkable. Bottle at Cafe Doerak.

Bottle from my local supermarket, finally curiousity got the better of me. Kind of wish it hadn’t. Pinky red with a thin quickly fading pink head. Aroma is sweet cloying raspberryade (if there is such a thing). I used to like cherryade, this, not so much. Flavour is sweet rapsberries. Longish finish.

From backlog

Head: white, creamy
Colour: pinkisch brown
Smell: artificial sweet, raspberrys, just red fruits and sweet overall
Taste: similar to the smell with almundy sweetness and artificial raspberry sweet taste , sourness from the sour ale , well hidden ! nah ...
