| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 20, 2009 Aroma of really sweet cherries and a hint of soapiness. Looks dark red/amber with barely any head. Taste is a mix of barley on the front end, sweet cherry syrup in the middle, and a slightly dry finish. Not a bad kriek, artificial cherriness for sure though. I’d prefer a more natural approach to the cherry mix. wheresthepath (556), Buckinghamshire, England

Aroma of fresh rather than artificial cherries was a pleasant surprise. Tastes of fresh cherries too, with a little sweet almond. It’s perfectly balanced against hints of sourness and dry woodiness. I’m not normally a fan of cherry beers, but this is pretty good - I can’t believe quite how much nicer it is than the raspberry version. Yves (1052), Beerse, Belgium
