Geruch recht intensiv bittermandelig, kirschig. Süß-kirschiger Antrunk. Mitte perlend, kirschig und jetzt sehr süß, verhalten bittermandelig. Im Abgang kirschsäuerlich, trocken. Kriek mit starker Süße - ist aber ok.

Vieux-rose head, medium and fast gone over deep ruby beer. Sweet, cherrysweets (poepekes), artificial fruitaromas; later syrupy toffee-ish or pastry-like aromas. Quite sweet initial cherrysyrupimpression, but with a rather pleasign light-acidic finish. However, just as the cherreis taste rather concentrate-like, the acidity is reminding of citric acid... Quite slick, the acidity alleviating the syrupy texture. Better than some, cerrtainly not really convincing of an artisanal heritage...

Off keg at the brewery tap derby. One of those beers that if you like sweet and fruity you’ll enjoy. I don’t but I still enjoyed it.

Green 37.5cl bottle, wrapped in paper, best before 14th Apr 2011, drank and enjoyed 24th Jan 2010. Poured into a Westmalle chalice. Dark cherry red body, with an off-white, pinkish wispy covering on top. Bakewell tart with extra cherries in the smell, nothing else could get past the cherries. The taste is all cherry too, just like the aroma. Some kriekbeers are really sweet, others really sour, this leans towards the sweeter end. It isn’t a syrup, sickly special though, but it is on the sweet side. I’ve had both types and this is most likely the best Kriek I’ve had the pleasure of having so far. I don’t know if it is made with whole cherries or a syrup and I don’t care, it tastes and feels good.

Good balance of sour and sweet. Also refreshing. Slightly dry finish with a taste that softly lingers. Bottle from de Schans in Uithoorn.

Bottle. Very sweet with a little touch of sourness. Too sweet. Nice touch with the paper - feels like unwrapping a present.

0,375l Bottle. Puors dark browen reddish with rosa creamy head. Some lacing. Aromas are earthy, yeasty, leather, cherries. Palate is medium bodied, tart, with slick smooth carbonation and soft mouthfeel. Medium taste is lactic, fruity, cherries, and some dry nuances. Finish is sweet and lactic with refreshing ending. Overall very good Kriekbeer, the sweetness is balanced not overdone and the earthy flavours complete the taste.

Bottle (375ml): A sweet cherry and raspberry smell to it straight away followed by a fair amount of sugar but nothing excessive.
Deep raspberry red colour topped with a pinkish white head that is part foamy, part bubbly in texture and with average retention.
Huge amount of cherry flavour to begin with and to be honest, not a whole lot more than that. The cherry dominates the taste department without coming across as too sickening.
Smooth with a lot of carbonation and as a result a bit of fizz to the drink as well. It is light to medium bodied with a very sweet, sugary feel to it.

Nice and sweet with a huge amount of cherries both in the taste and the smell without overdoing it too much. I found this one a lot more enjoyable an some of the other fruit beers I have rated previously.

Bottle at a tasting at the White Horse. Red brown colour with big creamy pinky beige head. Aroma is cherry drops, almond. Taste cherry and touch of sourness. But quite sugary. Nice and smooth and perfectly drinkable but would rather have something more interesting.
