3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear red brown colour, beautiful thick off-white head, which unfortunately disappears rather quickly. Aroma of caramel, red fruits, yoghurt, lactic acid, tobacco and woody vanilla notes. Sweet malty flavour, light sour notes, some berries, some kvas. Bit thin. Finish wood, lactic acid, caramel and malts. Not bad, but could use a bit more body. Nonetheless, itís quite refreshing as is.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
~barnyard horse blanket aroma, musty, chocolate, carmel tobacco, acidic cherry tartness.
~Pours a clear very light brown with small lingering bubbly light brown head.
~Tart caramel flavor with hints of tobacco and cherry pie.
~light bodied with high CO2, lingering tart sourness.
~I really like this. Great introductory beer into sours. Easy to drink and very intriguing. Will have to remember this to buy for friends that have never had sours.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a reddish brown color with a true sour fruit aroma. Taste is a true sour with fruit and alcohol flavor. An acidic aftertaste, with a slight ripened fruit film on the palate after the swallow.

Bottle from Vanuxeem. Has an aroma of sour apples & cider. Lively carbonation with sour pears, apples, cherries and juicy plums. Extremely tart and a bit too sour. Not really my kinda thing.

bottle. Brown with small head. Flanders style. Quite sour, but not over the top. Very nice cherry flavor. Not the best Iíve ever had of the style, but still delicious.

2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 5/20
Not fan of sours obviously
Aroma: modest,kvass, sourdough, cherries
Appearance: Nice brownis red color, no head
Taste: Big sour flavor ending with a bit of breadiness, very modest bitterness
Palate: creamy, silky, smooth
Overall: i am obviously not a fan of sours but this one is a little too dull, especially aroma vice.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from 12.7 oz bottle: A solid, transparent brown, lightly carbonated with nice off white head. I was expecting a belgian ale which they note on the bottle then was surprised by the sour nature, some sweet raspberry. There is some maltiness too. Also, there is a jolt. Overripe fruit, sweet smell.

Good Vlaams oud bruin/rood. Very wine-like indeed, with notes of oak and some smooth sourness.

Pretty nice sour. Not best in class, but would definitely and drink it again. Bonus points for great presentation - Iím a sucker for the "gift-wrapped" pack. Aroma a bit strange, but still good.
