COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A typical Flemish beer with a pleasant wine-like taste and a rich past. This dark brown beer, which is matured in oak casks, has a slightly acid aftertaste.

Svag för den här stilen även om det här inte var något att hurra för direkt. Kan nästan ana lite toner av körsbär. Balsamvinäger

12.7oz bottled July 5, 2011 @40-50° into Zwiesel 14.7oz cognac snifter; Tightly structured 1" head fades quickly to a slightly desaturated light khaki ring over a deep mahogony body revealing fiery red to amber highlights when illuminated; Aromas and flavors of dusty barrell, red fruit, dates, and earth with sweet bread appearing as this warms; Tart, with a medium light, medium carbonated, diluted lemon juice like acidic mouth finishing abruptly and mostly clean with some oaky dryness and soft lemony tartness resonating; restrained, but decently complex

Pours a nice brown reddish beer with a not very long lasting head. Smells sour and a bit cherry. Taste is ok. A bit soft. Very watery and low on carbo.

A good sour character to this beer though on the mellow side on the palate. Dry grape beer odor and sipping A slightly malty after taste and overall quite pleasant and enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Deep red color, off-white head. Strong berry aroma. Smooth rasberry flavor. Medium body, high carbonation. Excellent natural flavor!

Draft at 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a dark reddish brown, really not much aroma. Disappointed there. Body is really well-balanced, though, with a slightly tart finish. Oak and green apples come in a bit. Not very impressive, but a lighter example of the style.

Woody, oaky nose with dark fruits, mild cherry and plum. More fruit through the flavour, mild funk. Body is a little thin. Overall lacks complexity of some sour beers I have tried but still high on drinkability.

Head: tan, medium, sparkling. Colour: red-brown, slightly hazy. Aroma: dry wine, yeast, some dried cherry as it warms up, Taste is mostly sour, even acidic. Astringent. The sourness is too dominating and kind of plain.

Rosso mattone, velata. Schiuma abbondante, ma evanescente. Profumi fruttati di ciliegia, vaniglia, e sentori floreali. Nel palato l’acidità sovrasta la dolcezza e i toni retro olfattivi fruttati.
