A typical Flemish beer with a pleasant wine-like taste and a rich past. This dark brown beer, which is matured in oak casks, has a slightly acid aftertaste.

To sum it up: a wine like beer with a mild cola flavor to it. Sour fruits are dominating giving it a refreshing wine like style. Nice.

Brown pour with flecks of red. Slightly "sour", but definitely more malt forward that most beers of the same style. Easy drinking. Distinct Belgian yeast flavoring.

Caramel and red fruit aromas. It’s quite dry for a flemish red ale. Quite tart with a short tart final. Lack of complexity.

(Bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels, 26 Oct 2014) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, oak wood, dark bread and a slight acidity. Malty, slightly vinous nose with caramel, dark fruit, oak wood and a gentle acidity in fairly dry finish. Light to medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced with a light acidity, possibly a bit on the thin side. Quite nice.
