330ml bottle from Tesco. Pours clear gold, no head. Aromas are artificial sweetener, vanilla, corn. Taste is sickly sweet. Oily texture, watery finish. This is not very good.

I know this one is full of artificial aromas but they were so well balanced that this one really remembered me of a good drink filled up with Rum. Interesting mixture which led me to enjoy that one surprisingly well.

Beer pours out of the bottle in a clear deep golden colour with low head and medium body. Aroma rum and lemon. Taste of dry rum, mild beer, citrus, vanilla and light coconut. Strange bitter-dry finish. Not easy and nice to drink, rather awful and untasty.

Bottle. Golden lager body, minimal head. Strong aroma of toffee candies - I kind of like this aroma. Taste has artificial rum in a sweet watery pale lager body with some strange perfume and burnt sugar in the finish. Obviously artificial but not the worst option among this type of drinks (because the aroma is likable).

Bottle 330ml. clear glass.

Clear medium amber orange - yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, rum, sweet malt, sweet rum. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt - candy, sugary, toffee notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20131012]

Bottle from Tesco, Durham. A pale golden beer with a sweet sugary vanilla flavour, slight malty notes and soapy syrup finish.

Bottle. Light gold with a thin white top. Lager-ish looking. Ahhhh here we go, another "flavoured" beer. I can smell it, vanilla hits me first, then a touch of rum... and corn! Give it a sip and there’s definitely a touch of rum flavouring, some vanilla, and some orangeyness... but the base lager is a bit poor. Corny, syrupy and a bit overly sweet. Takes over the beer a bit. The flavouring, if better quality and put on a better quality ale, would be decent... this isn’t. Finish is insipid and sweet.

GoufCustom (620) - HONG KONG - NOV 30, 2013

330 ml bottle bought at CitySuper in Habour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Clear dull golden orange colour with trace of floating particles; No head and residual soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Small sticky lacing and quite fizzy carbonation; Smell of initial light skunk (gone in 1 minute), with light malt, light vanilla, faint rum, Cointreau, sugar syrup, bubble gum and light grass; Sweet taste of thin malt, with pretty strong rum, Cointreau, grains, hint of wet cardboard, very light liquorice and light grass; Light body, thin and slightly slick palate; Taste profile is like a rum-filled macro Pale cocktail. Not much malt, the strong sweet rum taste is gradual and not overbearing. Some Cointreau-like orange liquor taste is here as well. Alcohol is half hidden but not much of any knock on. Luckily the skunk nose was gone very fast and does not mingle with the taste; Hoppiness is initially skunked light grass in nose and taste. Light liquorice lead to a unmemorable light, abrupt semi finish; Wet after taste, very easy and nice to mouth.

Comments:This is a cocktail with macro Pale, rum, and Contreau-ish orange liquor. More liquor than beer, pretty sweet but not overtly offensive. Honestly, if I want real rum or cocktail, why don’t I have the real things instead? Pretty pointless even for parties.

Marduk (2038) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 30, 2013
330ml bottle. Clear golden color. Medium size, white head. Chemicals, candy in aroma. Rather disgusting. Sweet, coconut, vanilla in flavor. Why did you ruin that rum?
