Dark amber color. Medium bitterness. Toffee, toast, roasty malts. Subtle fruit flavors. Crisp, pilsner-like hops (grassy/spruce). Balanced. A good session beer.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of pale and caramel malts, floral hops, and some dough. Flavor the same with a decent blend. Average texture. Not bad for the style.

On draft, poured a clear amber/gold into the pint glass. White head that dissipated rather quickly. Bready malty aroma, I knew this was going to be way too sweet when I smelled it, and it was. Some resin hops in the finish. Unbalanced poor offering.

tectactoe (1443) - Michigan, USA - JAN 9, 2014
UPDATED: JAN 10, 2014 Can: clear copper pipe colored body with a mild red tint, topped with a beige, big-bubbled head that settles to a flimsy collar. Aroma has notes of toasty bread & caramel, almost Munich malt-like with lightly fruity hints, perhaps some apple or red grape. Doughy. Taste has a nice toasted dough & baked bready vibe with faint hints of spice, caramel, & leafy hops in the finish. Full of crystal malt flavors but the sweetness is tame. Its not exactly anything special but its still tasty.

12oz can poured into glass. Amber color with a thin head. Slight malt aroma mixed with some hops. Nothing super special really.

Very safe drinkable flagship beer. All flavors and aromas are nicely balanced with light noble hops and light caramel maltiness.

Pours copper/red with a white head. Malty nose up front with some earthy undertones. Tastes semi sweet with some fruity touches on the finish.
