COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This full-bodied India Pale Ale is loaded with fresh hops for a powerful blend of citrus, pine and fruit aromas. The firm malt backbones works well with the bold hop finish that everyone expects from an IPA.

Draft. Amber in the glass with a creamy off-white head that settled to a ring and left good lace. Pine and floral hop aroma. The flavor followed the same with a caramel backing also. Light to medium body, and medium bitterness throughout.

Bottle @ home. Pours hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is fresh pine, resin, and grapefruit hops with peach esters and biscuit malt. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, somewhat pithy with supporting dry malt, light fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

A nice light crisp taste not too hoppy (unfortunately) but a pleasant enticing aroma. Enjoyable as an after work refreshment.

Aroma is SERIOUSLY hoppy, with a nice citrus undertone. Comes out of the bottle a clear, pretty amber with a fairly thick and fluffy ivory head. Heartily hoppy flavor is somewhat but not fiercely bitter and has woody, grapefruit and subtle yeasty notes. Firm texture is not too fizzy, but leaves a nice woody, hoppy, slightly fruity & yeasty finish. Rub a freckle belly!

bottle. hazy gold with a small white head. aroma has notes of tea and bread with a certain spiciness. the flavor has more of a lime, citrus, spicy hop character. solid and standard ipa style.

Bottle. Floral, citrus on the nose. Flavor is the same. Chewing aspirin and not malty enough for the hop profile. Meh.

Bottled. Pours a clear gold with a slight head. Grassy aroma, somewhat metallic. Not a lot of hops, more like an APA, with a citrus flavor and somewhat sweet. Finishes bitter and metallic.

It has a nice, fruity/citrus hoppy aroma, with a taste to match. A soft beige head, with lacing that follows. The citrus hops are certainly a noticeable in the taste, with a nice bitterness that lingers, but doesn’t overwhelm.

We had this beer at the 2013 Tops of the Hops in Biloxi, MS. Really interesting beer. It gets increasingly hoppy as it sits in your mouth. Not my favorite flavor, but definitely an experiential beer.

Bomber. An Alabama beer, finally. Copper body with a decent, but ephemeral head. Aromas are caramel and grapefruit with resin. Flavor is very nice. It’s a little more caramel-heavy than I would like in a perfect IPA, but the hops presence is very nicely balance with a nice hops punch.
