3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted on 12/8/14 from a capped 12oz bottle purchased at Craft Brewed. Pours almost completely black, very intense for a standard porter, with an average tan head that slowly recedes to average lace. The nose is dark roast, some milk chocolate, and lightly sweet vanilla, a touch of coffee, and some very nice herbal and bright citrus hops. The flavor is all of the same mentioned in the nose with an added dusty bitter note. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long bitter lightly roasted and dusty hops finish. This is quite good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Remarkably good citrusy hoppy porter, reminiscent of Jose Marti. I definitely didn’t expect a beer of this quality from an unknown in Alabama. Good stuff.

Smokey aroma with hints of malt and cocoa. Great looking dark brown color with a thick well laced off white head. Taste of smoke and cocoa with a slightly dry feel. Smoked malt finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle courtesy of secret santa. pours a dark brown color with a medium sized beige head that has good retention. The aroma is mild with dark chocolate, toffee and something spicy. The taste mirrors the aroma with dark baking chocolate in the forefront backed up by a toffee malt base. The palate was light and the carbonation soft. Finished short and weak. Overall: Not bad, but needs work. Gotta say--All is right in the world when bible belt areas are brewing decent crafts.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from winter Santa. Got the elusive AL tick. Not much aroma for me some malt. Light on palate and higher on carbonation. Malt in taste. Not much there but not a bad brew at all

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very nice porter. Chocolate, nougat, very pleasant beer. The surprising part is that the bottled date was almost exactly a year ago. Holds up well.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
3.18.2014 bottling date. Clear brown color with tan head. Dusty, dry black malt, dark fruit, dark chocolate aromas. Frothy light mouthfeel. Dry chocolate, dark fruit, dust, mild coffee flavors___mildly infected---not too bad, though.
