Pours a dark brown, looks like a cola. Smells of chocolate, white cake and caramel. Taste is chocolate, toffee and dried raisin. Finish is medium dry and crisp. Very little after taste. A nice multi-purpose porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Craft Beer Cellar in Brandon, FL. Brown pour with sturdy beige head. Aroma is yeasty with wood and background chocolate. Tastes are roasty dark malt, chocolate, light smoke, nutty. Fairly significant hop bitterness balances out the more typical porter flavors. Lively thin to medium palate. Enjoyed this.

Nice deep brown coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, alcohol, raisins, plums, figs anda bunch of toffee - more sweetness than anything else. Rich Medium to Full-bodied; Strong roasty and toasty malt flavours with a big nut and earthy finish and a mild sweetness from toffee and caramelised sugars. Aftertaste shows some earthiness, a lot of walnut and pecans and a touch of coffee and bitterness at the end. Overall, a nice porter with some solid flavours and a nice profile that leans more earthy and deep than roasty and bitter. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Corner Store (Bait and Tackle) in West Palm Beach, Florida on 30-December-2013 for US$3.29 sampled in my hotel room here in Clearwater, Florida on 02-January-2013.

Poured into a pint glass. Interesting nose for a porter; its almost entirely citrus hops. Very little roasted malt aromas typical in a porter. Dark brownish-black with a light cream head. More typical porter in flavor, where the roasted malts come through. Chocolate flavor and mouthfeel, with a bit of coffee grounds. This rings as more of a brown ale to me, especially with the hop-forward approach. Still, its better than Id expected.
