12oz bottle. Golden color, white foam. Aroma of sweet malts, some floral hops. Slight citrus nose. Looks like and smells like a Golden Ale. Tastes like a golden ale. Sharp wooded hops, lingering straw flavor, crisp & refreshing. Very bold hops. (3738)

This is a decent pale ale. Nice hop flavor that isn’t overbearing. good aftertaste that lingers. Medium body. This is the first from Alabama, which is strange, since it is right next door.

Best when poured into a glass where the color and aromas can be better appreciated. Pleasantly surprised with the taste. We were left with a mild bitter aftertaste.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2014 Pours a beautiful copper color. Aroma is buscuity malt and earthy, citrus hops. Smells wonderful. Flavor up front is mostly just a hop bite but allowing to warm a bit, a strong malt backbone is unleashed, presenting a great pale ale. I dont understand the low ratings. Great hop flavor, great malt flavor. Light bodied, easy drinking. Oily mouthfeel. Everything an APA should be, in my opinion.

Pours a clear golden yellow from the bottle with fluffy white head and moderate lacing. Aroma of pale malt and slight earthy hop. Taste follows, really thin and not much going on, but ready to drink. Meh.
