This beer smells like a hop cooler and tastes like a malt room. An APA in its crispness, but without the strong hop finish. Very clean after taste. Overall, pleasing and eminently drinkable.

12 oz. bottle from shrubber85 - thanks again, Roger! I think there’s a 2014 date on here, so I was a bit worried before opening. Pours a barely cloudy orange color with a massive frothy off-white head that never completely settles. Rising carbonation bubbles are visible through the glass. It’s an active one. Notes of citrus, florals, bready and doughy malts, grass and herbs, straw, tea, and mild spice. Medium-bodied, with high, soft carbonation and a frothy, moderately bitter mouthfeel. Drinks like a hybrid of an APA and American saison, which is interesting. Maybe because it’s older? Either way, that character serves it well. Since I’m above the average here, maybe the key is to put some months on this one before opening. Unusual APA.

Forgettable pale. Dark gold colored. Too much toffee malts, some butteriness, a little citrus. Medium bodied. Not worth seeking out.

can acquired on a puppy pickup to Alabama. Aroma is lighter. Malty. Hazy subtle orange in an amber beer Taste is pretty boring. Not bad really. But just not special. Sort of muddled all around. Like hops are there but not the star. Fruity note is there but not the star. Malt is there but not the star. Palate is super dry which makes this one a bit difficult to dink vs. other average pale ales. Overall not a bad pale not a good pale. It’s still beer so cheers!

Bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with large off white head. The aroma is bready malt and caramel. Thin mouth, nutty malt, wet biscuit, light fruit, decent.

bottle. Golden with one finger head. I was pleasantly surprised by this, but had very low expectations. Light body with a floral and citrus hop presence. Pretty tasty hop flavors.

12Oz can in Alabama while fishing at Dream Lake The IPA poured a cloudy light amber with an off white head. There was nice citrus bitterness on the nose. You taste the grapefruit rind and a slightly biscuity malt character that make the ale interesting. It was great ale to have after fishing for large mouth bass all day. The ale had a medium body with average carbonation. In the back, hop bitterness takes hold, inducing a lasting dry swallow.
