3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle into Lager glass. Pour is a haze orange with a fine head. Aroma is a nice hop with a malt back. Taste is a malt with a sightly warm bitter. A very good ale, I had in Jasper Alabama. A very good pale ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
[ As Back Forty Naked Pig Pale Ale ].
Clear medium yellow color with a huge, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, funky, moderate hoppy, grass - dry grass, horse blanket, leather. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, sweet fruity malt, funky, shoe polish. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
manages to be clean and crisp, yet hoppier than usual and with a unique malt profile and higher levels of complexity than expected. from a style where few stand out, this one is pretty high. Grassy, citrus hops and a slightly biscuity malt character make for a nice combo. i’m having this after a cold weather run, but it would be a very nice summer/hot weather brew. thanks Lou for the trade, and for my 40th state. 93rd percentile in style seems about right."

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle - 12oz. Slightly hazy, amber body with an average white frothy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with orange, malty, and yeasty hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries grainy, citrusy, and piney notes. Ends with a robust, but rather short bitter/grainy finish. Pretty decent Pale Ale. Thanks Kevin and Christina!

Clear gold. Fairly dry malt. Light hops. Fairly uninspired pale, but not bad. Just boring.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottle @ Habersham Beverage / Savannah GA --- Nice aroma of dry malt. Dark amber, thin rim head, no lace. Taste is simple sweet malt that moves quickly through the palate to a crisp carbonated finish. Similar to the offerings by the large regional (Yeungling, etc) breweries in that it drinks easy but is no big deal.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle--Hello Alabama! Pours more of an orange color with a small head. The aroma is malty and on the German/cereal side. The flavor is all malt with no hoppy bitterness. Dry finish and was watery and thin. Total wine

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle in trade with Burg. Thanks man! Pours clear golden with a half finger white head. Aroma much like a pils surprisingly, with some hay, light fruity hops, a bit of caramel. Not bad smelling. Flavor is OK with light hay and hops and a German influence here. A bit more caramel tones than a pils, though the flavor is a bit watered down like with their IPA, both of which seemed to be going on the session strength direction rather than the flavor direction. Light bodied with low to medium carbonation for the style. Not bad. Maybe a gateway beer for some to the good stuff.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle
Thanks to a Florida trader for this elusive state tick - only the Dakotas remain. A solid pale ale is typical of a regional brewery. It may not win any national competitions but as a local favorite I could see this being popular at BBQs, cookouts, and around the pool.
Aroma / Appearance - A carbonated bronze base shimmers with life. A crisp white head is expected along with spruce, fresh pine, and other notes that lend a bright hop forward presence. Peachy undertones give it a nice Southern feel.
Flavor / Palate - Peach, citrus, and mango warm the tip of the tongue. A few seconds later the hops begin to scrub away the residue of lunch. A resiny foundation supports a competent profile that leaves a light bitterness in the throat. A nice lawnmower beer, this is as good a state tick as you will probably find at the moment from Alabama.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. This is a piney pale with lots of carbonation. Not a great PA from my perspective.
