Pours a clear golden yellow from the bottle with fluffy white head and moderate lacing. Aroma of pale malt and slight earthy hop. Taste follows, really thin and not much going on, but ready to drink. Meh.

Bottle--Hello Alabama! Pours more of an orange color with a small head. The aroma is malty and on the German/cereal side. The flavor is all malt with no hoppy bitterness. Dry finish and was watery and thin. Total wine

Bottle in trade with Burg. Thanks man! Pours clear golden with a half finger white head. Aroma much like a pils surprisingly, with some hay, light fruity hops, a bit of caramel. Not bad smelling. Flavor is OK with light hay and hops and a German influence here. A bit more caramel tones than a pils, though the flavor is a bit watered down like with their IPA, both of which seemed to be going on the session strength direction rather than the flavor direction. Light bodied with low to medium carbonation for the style. Not bad. Maybe a gateway beer for some to the good stuff.

Tap at Lazy Dog. Transparent golden with a ring of cream colored head. Taste is pretty pleasant, easy malty. Aroma of malts and hops.

Thanks to a Florida trader for this elusive state tick - only the Dakotas remain. A solid pale ale is typical of a regional brewery. It may not win any national competitions but as a local favorite I could see this being popular at BBQs, cookouts, and around the pool.

Aroma / Appearance - A carbonated bronze base shimmers with life. A crisp white head is expected along with spruce, fresh pine, and other notes that lend a bright hop forward presence. Peachy undertones give it a nice Southern feel.

Flavor / Palate - Peach, citrus, and mango warm the tip of the tongue. A few seconds later the hops begin to scrub away the residue of lunch. A resiny foundation supports a competent profile that leaves a light bitterness in the throat. A nice lawnmower beer, this is as good a state tick as you will probably find at the moment from Alabama.

Bottle. This is a piney pale with lots of carbonation. Not a great PA from my perspective.

I am generally a DIPA snob, but tried this at a restaurant called the Perfect Pig in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. I was pleasantly surprised. I found the combination of hops and malt worked well for me and I immediately went and purchased two six packs the next day. There is some pine and citrus and it worked better for me than most IPAs. Mindful in a small way of the flavors I get from a 3Floyds ZD, but do open one with that in mind. I am sold and wish it was available in Indiana..... I am a fan.

Draft at Beltway Brewing Company. Poured a light golden color with a small white head. Aroma was light grassy notes, nice malt notes. Flavor was nice hop notes with a light malt quality to it. Pretty enjoyable.

My first Alabama rating. 12oz bottle from Craft Beer Cellar in Brandon, FL. Gold pour with a huge frothy white head and strong lacing. Aroma is light lemon citrus and resin. Taste is sweet biscuit, caramel, cereal, grain. Finishes bitter sweet and tad dry. Not my thing, but not bad.

Taproom pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is hoppy with resin, citrus, pine, nutty. Taste is pine, citrus, nut, medium light body with a balanced to bitter finish.
