Tried this beer at a beer tasting held at my local beer/wine shop. Historically, I have never cared for pale ale but this has changed my outlook. It was a very refreshing.

Fresh bottle thanks to Jason & Trip, Thanks! Golden pour with a nice white head. Neat carbonation. A bit of bread and caramel in the otherwise floral and citrus noted aroma. Soft hops right there at the beginning of the taste. Grains moving to a pillow, yes a pillow, of spicy, pine hops. Only at the end does the bitter set in with a final lingering hoppy finish. Soft round mouthfeel with a light to medium body. This is truly the best bottle of this if had. Who says freshness makes no difference...

Thanks goes out to the guy who looked at the label and thought " i wanna bbq that fuckin naked pig (and not bbq that pig fuckin naked)..", Lou!! .. . Pours a deep tan, with fantastic foam features.. . has a complex mouth for a pale ale- biscuit, light resin, light hoppy syrup, and pig dreams .. .man, i wish i had actually gotten naked for this beer- be one with the pig, oh well- next time .. . I really dig this, a great session and a great beer to come out and give alabama a push into the craft beer scene! .. . He’s not gonna pork her, Russ.
He may pork her, finish your breakfast.

12oz bottle by way of brentfeesh. Pours clear medium gold with a 2 finger snow white head that leaves delicate lacing. The nose is malt and citrus hops. The taste is caramel malt, citrus and some tart grapefruit in the finish. Medium mouthfeel. Nice hoppy pale - one of the better ones. Thanks again Brent!

Pours a beautiful translucent amber. Minimal white head. Aroma of fresh grain, barley, grassy hops and a slight sugar finish. Flavor of big citrus, floral perfume, grass and slight biscuit. Very good. Much better than I expected by seeing other ratings.
