This medium-bodied English Brown Ale is smooth and easy to enjoy. Widflower honey is used to compliment the roasted malts and subtle hop profile. Whether you’re preparing a delcious meal or enjoying a cool southern evening by the fire.

You better have your honey!

Bottle from liquor express. Pours dark honey with a half inch of khaki head. Why the hell anyone would put honey in a brown ale is beyond me. The taste is mushy and confused. The elements just don’t blend together well. At least the taste, such as it is, doesn’t linger.

Draft from On Tap in Hoover. Looks decent (it’s a trick). Smells like dirty feet. Tastes like vinegar vomit. Disgusting, I had rather drink liquified turds.

Bottle with gooovikings in KC. Thanks Jetson! Dark orange-brown appearance with a light head. Toasty, caramel, toffee, slightly nutty nose. A little dusty, honey, moderately nutty, toffee malty flavor.

Mushroomy barley malt aroma. Clear auburn, medium head. Barley malt flavor, slightly astringent. Alcohol too noticeable for what it is. not really impressive, bland.

Wonderfully fresh bottle from Trip and Jason. Thanks. Nice deep copper - nut brown pour. Very clear with pretty carbonation. Plenty of aroma with cereal grain, caramel, and a light sweetness that’s like, well sure, honey. Flavor is easy malt with a grain note and a very faint sweetness that is honey like. Medium body with a lingering wet mouthfeel. Can’t wait for the brewery to open!

Pours brown with thin tan head.  Taste and aroma dominated by caramel malt.  Just ok.

On tap at Mellow Mushroom Huntsville. Pours brown with a medium frothy, beige head. The aroma is caramel and brown malts, honey, pine and resin hops, and a significant note of bread dough. The flavor is heavy sweetness and bitterness, which balance and play off each other very nicely. The palate is light to medium and smooth, with a clean finish. Overall, nothing special about the components, but a very well assembled and thought out beer.
