Bottle... Pours clear and deep amber with a large, wispy, white head. It fades slowly to a small, tight, creamy cap that refuses to fully disappear. Heaps of honey and nuttiness in the aroma. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with airy carbonation. The sweet, super-malty flavor offers honey, pale malts and toasted nuts. The hops impart only a semblance of balance. Malty, mashy finish. It doesn’t look much like a brown ale, bug there’s a lot of flavor packed into this little guy. Bottle courtesy of garmonbozia!

Sample at the DBLDP on 09/02/2012: The beer pours amber-brown with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of malt, honey and a touch of hops. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, molasses and a bit of off fruit. The finish is short with a sweet malt aftertaste. Fairly average overall.

On tap at below the radar in huntsville al. Deep brown pour you can almost see through with little head. Roasted molasses scent, a little bit of licorice. Taste is huge and Belgian-y. A little chalky and yeasty, soapy banana flavor. Finish is also chalky with some malty sweet flavors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from liquor express - pours a slightly cloudy orangish-red, which is a little light for a brown, most likely due to the honey. Aroma is faintly sweet. Taste is sweet with some bitter notes as it warms. Palate is sticky. Overall, i tend to like sweet more than bitter, so this is right up my alley.

Drank from pint glass poured from a keg. Subtle sweet honey overtones and rich Carmel flavors make this an enjoyable summer beverage. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This drinks like a light beer. I was surprised to find that you can actually taste the honey in this beer. I think I would have to be in the mood for that honey flavor though; I couldn’t drink it all the time. Overall good.

Thanks Seymour for this one. Pours deep brown with a tan head. The aroma has toast, oxidation and overripe fruit. Medium sickly body with a modest amount of carbonation. The flavor has butterscotch, overripe fruit and cardboard. The finish is medicinal and off-flavors. Pretty gross, but excellent chance this is old. No date on the bottle to confirm this though.
