COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This amber colored pale ale will quench your thirst. It's smooth mild taste makes it Back Road Brewery's flagship beer. A generous dosing of fresh English hops nicely balances the beer's maltiness. A technique called dry hopping is used to add a fresh herbal like aroma. Drink and enjoy LaPorte's first hand crafted beer!!

Pours a slightly hazy golden with an airy, frothy off-white head. Aroma of some piny English hops and pale malt with some mild tartness. Body starts very effervescent with a tart lemon citrus flavor and some acidic warmth. Definitely seems infected to me, but would otherwise be a pretty standard APA.

Appearance: Pours a hazed amber body with an explosive, run-away white head. Smell: A tart, twangy aroma akin to cooked berries along with a dose of pine. Taste: A beer that begins and ends tart, with some mild malt flavors and English hops in between. Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Questionably well carbonated. Drinkability: A "flagship beer" that’s flying at half-mast.

Moderate sweet malty aroma.Light hoppy and yeast aroma. Slightly cloudy yellowish amber color with creamy ivory head. Moderate head retention Slightly acidic sour initial flavor followed by light hop bitterness in the finish. Light body with a watery mouthfeel. Hopefully an unrepresentative sample.
