Out of the bottle thanks to patrick 767. Deep amber color with a thin, big bubble head. Nice spicey nose of allspice, clove and nutmeg. A little flat, but a very spicey beer. Allspice, clove and cinnamon in the flavors. Nice enough spiced beer, but pretty one dimensional.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 thedm (4124) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 4, 2010
This bottled brew from a rating party poured a small sized head of fine to large sized bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was spicy and malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a acidic aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of mild spice and malt. An OK brew just nothing special.

bottle at the brewery - Pours amber-orange with a small off-white head. The aroma is all about the pumpkins and spice. The brewer told me that the spices include cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. The flavor is a good, balanced amount of pumpkin that doesn’t overpower the rest of the beer, which tastes of caramel malt, spice, and bittering hops. Solid, medium bodied brew.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MoDog (927) - Griffith, Indiana, USA - OCT 11, 2009
12oz bottle, served in a shaker. Hazy amber pour with a short-lived head of large bubbles that quickly faded into a film. Spotty lace. The aroma had toasted pumpkin, light pie spices, bread dough, and toasted caramel. Nothing overstated or overdone. The flavor included cooked pumpkin, light spices, and caramel. Medium-bodied with very light carbonation. A nice, mild blend of pumpkin and pie spices makes this a quaffable fall brew. I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 BBB63 (5023) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - SEP 26, 2009
Tap: Amber hued with a small head. The aroma has notes of cinnamon, clove, pumpkin, caramel., slight herbal hop and mineral water. Spicy up front on the palate but overly strong, meaty pumpkin and caramel malts which a strange astringent finish. The mouth feel is overall soft but lively and watery around the edges. It is what it is, an average spiced beer in a world of average spiced beers.
