tap at the brewery - Pours hazy yellow with a lingering white head. There’s a light, malty aroma. The flavor has ample bitttering hops with subdued malt. It’s light bodied and just okay.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 beerbill (2938) - Laurel, New York, USA - MAY 20, 2008
12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with BBB63. Pours a hazy dull gold with lots of fat carbonation bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass and a few floaties lingering at the bottom. Moderate white head that disappeared after the first sip and left no lace. The aroma was virtually non-existent with perhaps some scant floral hops in the nose. The flavor was malt with a bit of floral hops at the finish. Lightly bitter at the finish and light on the palate. Not a bad beer by any means, but very uninteresting.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 tjthresh (1849) - Greenfield, Indiana, USA - JAN 23, 2008
12 ounce bottle from Mike. Pours hazy dark golden with a little bit of white head. Lots of grainy pale malt in the nose with just a bit of apple and flowers. Lot of earthy hops and a fading bitterness. Lots of malt flavor as well, with some light caramel notes. I’m thinking banana-nut bread as well. Medium body. Buttery mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Even finish. Certainly not something to be sought after. I guess its a nice money maker for Chuck. Thanks Mike.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BBB63 (5023) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - JAN 17, 2008
Bottle: Golden hue with a fading frothy head and some lace. The aroma has notes of floral hops and pale grainy malt with slight pear and apple esters. The taste has a mild fruity character over a layer of soft grains with a mostly clean finish. Just enough hop to let you know there are some. The mouth feel is thin and lively as expected with a dry finish, refreshing. Overall it fits the bill of what it is, a simple session ale and there is nothing wrong with that.
