On tap only at brewery, RATING #2300: A unfiltered reddish brown hue with a small tight tan head. The aroma displays some roated and biscuity malt, pear and random citrus, earthy yeast and a moderate woody smoked vapor. The taste is fruity and malty upfront with a mild bitterness finishing it off. The smoke runs throughout and is the primary feature of the aftertaste, YUMMY! The mouth feel is oily and smooth, refreshing with the alcohol well hidden. Yet another winner from Chuck, so drop by for a taste before it is gone (which is soon).

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2005 On tap at the brewery. Dark red and brown with a full tan head. Murkey and dense. Some cirucy hop character manages to cut through the smoke. A touch of bacon can be detected. Meduim smoke with a long bitter finish. Medium/full bodied. Mouthfilling. and coats well. The higher alcohol is not easily detected. Everything blends very well.
