3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Vista location. Pours with a tan head and a deep brown body. Aroma of madagascar vanilla beans, cream (milk), and chocolate. Taste is spicy with a slight bitterness from the vanilla beans (you can tell that there are a lot of them in this brew). Very tasty. Woodsy. Medium bubbles.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
A: The pour is a dark brown color with hints of red in the right light. Kind of cola-like.
S: Plenty of roast and coffee up front. Lots of sweet vanilla, which is good if you like vanilla. We might be on to something here.
T: Unfortunately, the flavor is quite watery. Sure, plenty of roast, coffee, and some sweet milk chocolate, along with the vanilla. A mild bitterness from the roasted components.
M: The body is just too watery and detracts quite a bit from the beer. Carbonation is low and smooth.
D: I liked the flavor and aroma, I just wish this wasn’t so thin and watered down. Otherwise, this would have been a definite winner.
