2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 womencantsail (3927) - Home of Rebecca Black, California, USA - FEB 10, 2011
A: The beer pours an almost neon yellow color and it’s incredibly pale with a short lived white head.
S: Very cidery. It’s got an almost apple juice aroma that seems to be augmented in the fruit department by some pears. Certainly some corn in there, and a lot of sugar (smells very, very sweet).
T: Oh boy, this is not good. How did this beer come to taste like cardboard? I get a mild hop character that is sort of grassy and floral. A lot of corn on the palate too.
M: The body is light as can be with a high level of carbonation.
D: I guess to put a positive spin on this dreadful beer: at least it wasn’t skunky.

On tap in Irvine, it’s extremely mild in flavor with virtually no hop presence. The brewer told me that this "Mexican Lager" was done per the suggestion of a good customer, Chava, who wanted a beer that was like a Mexican macro

[Part of sampler @Vista, CA] I agree with herbjones on this one. I don’t like lagers and I didnt really like this one. I guess it might be nice with pizza. honey flavour, sweet and sticky mouthfeel.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 herbjones (742) - Orange, California, USA - JAN 26, 2003
I dont think I've ever had a lager that I liked. This one is no different. Clear gold pour. Has all the usual lager qualities.
