Draft at back street. Clear amber pour, small fizzy white head. Sweet malt, light grapefruit, bitterness, and a bit metallic. Not that great, At least it’s happy hour.

I drink this like water at the Lader Ranch location. This is the perfect west coast style IPA. It is hoppy and full of citrus notes. This little brewery makes some good beers.

On tap at La Quinta location. Pours clear golden orange with white head. Decent lacing. Aromas of grapefruit, pine, caramel malts, and good dose of fresh hops. Flavors of bitter hops, grapefruit, pine and some metallic malty notes mixed in with the malts. Overall this is pretty solid ipa.

I had this on tap at Back Street in Irvine. Nicely hoppy, but not overdone, it’s a very drinkable & eenjoyable IPA.

A: The pour is a strangely hazy orange tinted straw color with a nice white head. I’ve never seen an IPA that looks quite like this.
S: The nose is quite fruity, which is nice. Orange, grapefruit, pineapple hop aromas are pleasant. Some sweet malt underneath the hops.
T: A pretty nice flavor profile to this beer. Lots of fruity hops with pineapple, tangerines, and apricot. A moderate bitterness is there, but is sort of grassy.
M: The body is medium with a moderate carbonation.
D: There must have been some reworking of the recipe because this beer is nothing like the other reviews. I quite liked this beer, I must say. One of my favorites from Back Street.
