COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A San Diego Strong Ale. Brewed with 60#s of local wild flower honey( basically and alcohol boost no flavor), tons of danky hops and a proprietary puree of locally grown persimmons. Flavor wise it is basically a double IPA with the only additive flavor being an underlying honey sweetness from the persimmons, subtle. 10% ABV

On tap at Vista. Interesting to read what actually went into the making of this beer. Not sure if all of it added that much. Did not write any color information down. Aroma was very floral, with some caramel and fruit. flavor was not greatly balanced. Very floral and almost herbal. Good flavor, but nothing great.

I’ve had this one on numerous occasions. Pours a clear bronze hue with a nice thick rocky white head. The nose is incedible with lots of bright citrusy notes and a underlying sweet punch. Flavor has many different levels starting with candylike fruit, perfect hops, and a smooth maltiness thoughout. I liked the clean, dry finish and the kick your ass abv which was nicely concealed. Beautiful brew mr. Adam C. Backstreet brewing owners are out of the pucking minds to not have your talents any longer. Oh well their HUGE loss, another brewery’s TREMENDOUS GAIN!!! Peace and chicken grease~

tap @ the brewery: average copper body with white head and minimal lacing--looks like some basic ales; bittersweet flavor that sometimes seems too clean--apple, grapefruit, honey, fruit rind; smooth, somewhat dry palate; very good though--the 10% is deceiving especially by its looks... i liked it.

On tap @ Hamilton’s. Pours a deep rust brown with a small beige head. Herbal hops and sweet malts on the nose. Flavor was sweet and a bit sticky. Lightly boozy finish with some hop bitterness.
