Copper brown color/ tan head. Candi sugar smell with earthy belgian yeast, brown malts. medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Good strong ale flavors of candi sugar earthy yeast brown sugar roasty malts sweet herbs and spices. ABV is well hidden. sweet.

Tap @ Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest 2009. Pours a lightly hazed sunset peach color with a 2 finger thing off white head. Nose is quite fruity with some banana, clove spice and tree fruits. Pick up light toasted malts in the flavor, as well as some sweet tree fruits and spice.

Tasted at the 13th Annual Strong Ale Fest on 12/4/2009. This Belgian Strong Ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is banana, clove and some acetone. A medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are earthy. Nice banana and clove flavors, touch of nuttiness. Nice carbonation. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
