COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wutizit-Experimental Ale The name says it all. This beer follows no style guidlines. Instead it showcases three distinct flavors( orange, chocolate, and rye) that blend to form one unique drinking experience. Brewed with chocolate rye malts, aged on organic criolla cacao from peru, and infused with the refreshing flavors orange including over 20 pounds of fresh clementines! This rermarkably drinkable ale holds one last surprise, an ABV of 9%, though, you’d never know it.

An older rating lost and forgotten about in my wallet. Sampled at the Liar’s Club! Deep opaque brown with a creamy head. Sweet malt and pungent spice aroma. Tastes of chocolate, grain, and citrus, but nothing as distinct as orange and rye. Decent but a little odd.

On-tap at PP C’Bad. Pours dark brown with a thin, creamy tan head, specks of lace. Smells subdued dark, sweet malty. Tastes pretty good. Dark, chocolatey malts up front, with some orange flavor in the middle and a lingering malty roastiness. Nice. Medium body, good carbonation.

On Tap @ PP Carlsbad. This was a lot of fun with lots of interesting flaovors mixed together. I really enjoyed it.

On tap at Stone; aroma of roasted malt and a brown ale-ish aroma; also some good coffee. Flavor was very caramelly and roasted; grassy and earthy finish; a bit of fruit. Goljubj like it at a 3.5 rating noting that it was nutty and roasted both in the flavor and aroma.

On tap at Stone. Dark brown color. Medium to heavy body. Small to no head. Aroma of some roasted grains is mild and under control I don’t like too much of it, then it tastes like cigarette butts. Leans sweet. OK.

Dark brown with a small head and ok lacing. The aroma is of coffee and orange peel. The flavor is of coffee, nuts, oak, rye and chocolate. A somewhat dry texture. A good beer, but nothing special.

On tap at Stone. Pours with a murky brown body and a small off-white head that goes quickly. Aroma of coffee, some orange peel. Taste is coffee, some orange peel, chocolate powder, roasted malts. Fizzy mouthfeel and kind of dry. Odd for the ABV.

On tap at Hamiltons. Pours with a dark brown body with a reddish hue topped by a thin to medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s full of roasty malt notes, spicy notes and some coffee notes with an underlying bitter hoppiness. Medium to full bodied and smooth.
