GABF 2009. Pours clear yellow with a small, fizzy white head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, cereal, meal), light hop (flowers, herbs), heavy yeast (horse blanket, barnyard, earth) with notes of pear and pineapple. Light bodied, thin texture, soft carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.
