   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 5/5   OVERALL 13/20
onceblind (4066) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 9, 2014
Clear light golden with a fizzy white head that recedes pretty quickly. The nose is a bit salty and a bit lactic-sour, with some lemony bitter tones. Spritzy body with a lot of nuance, with lemony sourness, a bit of lemon zest, lactic funky yeast, a calming golden malt chewiness underneath, and some more sourish tones that somehow bring a bit of corn to mind. Really interesting ale to taste.

theisti (3236) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - AUG 11, 2014
Shaker pint draft at the brewpub in Frisco, Colorado. The pour is a hazed golden yellow with a small white head. The aroma is wheat, citrus lemon and a general sour. The taste is tart lemon along with wheat grain and then some grain dirtiness in the finish. The palate is light bodied with soft carbonation and some dirty earth in the finish. Just OK.

Bottle poured into nonic pint. Light hazy hay pour. Aroma is funky, cheesy, gym sock. Taste is weirdly thick. Cheese, funk gym, sock, horse blanket. No real tartness. Just...gross funk. Like drinking blue cheese dressing. Gross.
