Tap at the brewery. Pours very dark brown, foamy tan head. Aroma is dark malt, roast and coffee. Some notes of cocoa. Medium-full body with slick chocolate malt. Roast on the finish. Lovely.

Extreme taste of strong freshly brewed Folgers whacks you in the face as soon as you sip this one. Its very much coffee but a cheap coffee. I like it. Its the beer equivalent of rolling out of bed at Holiday Inn, heading downstairs for the "continental breakfast" filling your fatty travel mug and hitting the road again. Solid brew.Would drink again

Looks okay, wild supposedly the beans were roasted in some way that doesn’t make them over roasted, this still had far too strong of a coffee flavor to be enjoyable to me. The only one of the three that I didn’t really enjoy

A nice breakfast stout overall. Pours a deep black with a tan head. Smells of coffee, coffee, coffee and Yoo Hoo. Taste is more balanced, with cream, subtle coffee, oatmeal and more Yoo Hoo in the finish. Had in the bottle.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a rich black color with a distinct dark roast coffee aroma. Taste is mildly bitter chocolate with a full coffee flavor. The coffee tastes dark roasted, with some earthy flavors. This beer is missing the sweetness to it for the style. Overall a very drinkable beer with little aftertaste.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark brown, tan head that faded away quickly. Aroma of coffee, some bitter chocolate. Moderate coffee taste, some roasted malts. A little sweetness. Not much carbonation, for a stout, it didn’t have much body and was thin. Overall this was an ok beer, very drinkable. I prefer the thick and chewy Imperial stouts, but this might work for someone new to the style. Maybe they could change the label to read, "A Sessionable Breakfast Stout."
