Tap @ Backcountry. Dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma and flavor is mostly coffee with light chocolate. Medium body with a thin watery mouth feel. Fairly drinkable, I could see drinking this for breakfast.

Nitro at Freshcraft - nearly black pour - fairly light-bodied, but with a silky, creamy mouthfeel - flavor is farily mellow, with some moderate milk sugar sweetness, balanced by a light char/roast character and medium to high coffee flavors - a light bit of acidity, most likely from the coffee, but other than that it is fairly smooth and does not become overly bitter or abrasive, like many coffee stouts do - I enjoyed it.

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark black with creamy espresso head, aroma brought notes of coffee grounds, some slight wet biscuit and cracker, hints of caramel, chocolate notes as well. Taste is overwhelming coffee but the wet grounds type which I’m not a fan of, going into a touch of chocolate and caramel, finishing fairly bitter and roasted. Not bad.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Atom (686) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 12, 2011
From notes, on tap at The Goat pours dark brown/black with thick tan head. Aroma is overwhelmingly coffee, like walking onto an airplane past the kitchen. Taste is predominately coffee, dark roasted malts, and slight chocolate. A decent stout but a little singular with the coffee could be more going on here taste wise.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 adnielsen (3748) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 28, 2010
Tap at the brewery. Deep brown/black appearance with a creamy brown head. Dark burnt malts and coffee notes in the nose. Flavor is dark burnt chocolate malts and a strong coffee grounds flavor. Mouthfeel makes me think this is a nitro. Mouthfeel also is a bit rough, possibly from the inclusion of coffee grounds. Coffee flavor is way overdone.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 dimenhetfield (1730) - , Florida, USA - APR 11, 2010
Breakfast is with out a doubt the best way to describe this one. The aroma is all coffee bean and chocolate. It also has a roasted nut flavor to it. I thought it was pretty amazing.

Growler thanks to Seth. Strong coffee aroma. Light to thin body. Color like cola. Taste a bit like cola. Very light for a stout.

Draft at the brewpub. Pulled off a nitro tap, the whipped cream tan head lasted until the bottom of the glass, complimenting a black body with mahogany highlights. Huge coffee aroma, and the waiter confirmed that coffeee beans were used in the brewing. The coffee was complimented by some subtle, chocolate, and roasted malts. Medium to full body, but lacked the full palate that I would have liked. Still, it was smooth and creamy and very easily drinkable. The sweetness of the malts is nicely balanced by some dark roasted malt bitterness and, of course, the coffee. Finish is quite neutral . Very pleasant and drinkable.

On tap @ Backcountry poured a clear dark brown with a lasting creamy tan head. Aromas of coffee, roasted malt, light vanilla and a hint of chocolate. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of coffee, roasted malt, light vanilla and a hint of chocolate with a smooth lingering coffee finish.
