bleeng (267), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA Dec 15, 2007 22 oz bomber purchased at brewery in August 2007. First had this after my son and I climbed Grays Peak 14,270 feet. Needless to say I was very thirsty after that romp. Pours bright yellow and very carbonated with a big white head. Nose of horse blanket, spices, funkiness, nice. Tastes comes through bitter and dry with pepper and spices. Good thirst quencher and well done for an American version of a Belgium farmhouse beer. ratman197 (2189), Arvada, Colorado, USA Nov 21, 2007 Bomber poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of straw, spice, citrus, pineapple and a hint of banana. Palate was light bodied crisp and slightly dry. Flavors of straw, fruitiness, light spice and a hint of carmel with a crisp slightly dry finish. RSRIZZO (949), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 17, 2007 Had this beer at the All Colorado Beer Fest on 11/10/2007. Aroma is a sweet scent with banana back tones. Color is a hazy yellow/gold with ok carbonation and a thin head. This is good but not great. Its a very Hefe like Saison with a sweet body and banana back tones. BeerandBlues2 (2411), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 11, 2007 Draught at All Colorado Beer Festival. Pours hazy yellow with a small, fizzy, white head, lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, hay, straw), average hops (flowers, citrus), average yeast (dough, barnyard, earth) with notes of banana and pear. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness. Golden copper color with a thick creamy head this was a great session beer. I love these types that do not try to kill you will too much alcohol. This was a very good beer.
