3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Shaker pint draft at the Blue Spruce in Frisco, Colorado. The pour is a cloudy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is big bubblegum right away, followed by clove and then wheat grain behind that. The taste has more of the clove, then turns to grain wheat, then finishes sweet mineral bubblegum. The palate is medium bodies, soft natural carbonation and lingers too long for my tastes with the bubblegum sweet. Just ok.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy lemonade color with a small white head. Smells of biscuit, light fruit, esters, and dough. Taste is very bready and doughy, with light fruit, although, I’m not picking up banana, at all. Light mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not really a hefeweizen, in my opinion. Really off.
