Clear yellow pour, white head. Basic spice, some yeast, light peppery note. Flavor is much the same, a bit of peppery bite on the finish of a light yeasty beer.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 rhialistic (156) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 30, 2012
On tap @ Hops and Pie. Pours a cloudy golden color with little head. Came off the tap rather cold, so I warmed the glass in my hands for a bit before appreciating the scent of yeast, clove and sour cherries. Taste had plenty of farmhouse yeast,, lemongrass, coriander/clove spice, and grain. Has a big full mouthfeel, spritzy on the tongue, touch of heat due to the ABV on the finish but nothing distracting. Very nice beer.

(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of florals, mustiness, clove, and banana. Flavor of florals, herbs, yeast, pineapple, and citrus.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 notalush (4178) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 20, 2011
Tap at Falling Rock - hazy golden - taste is incredibly phenolic - lots of black pepper and clove, even a touch of banana - quite a bit of tropical fruit sweetness which is a little too high for my tastes - the string phenols do a scent job of covering this up - decent.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 theisti (2822) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - JUL 5, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2011 Approximately 12 oz goblet draft at the brew pub in Frisco, Colorado. Pour is a hazy golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is malt and wheat, bright Belgian yeast, clove, and some hay grass and earth. Taste is the clove yeast and malt sweetness. Aftertaste is some bright phenols. It all comes together pretty well. Palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation and the yeasty finish. I like my saisons a bit drier, but this was good. I didn’t realize the abv of this beer until after the fact, explains some of the sweetness. Cheers to the adiditional info I received via the brewery.
