COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beer with dark, rich color and complex flavor born out of a combination of 6 malts. We balance all of this with some of the Northwest’s finest hops. Our porter is often described as creamy in texture yet not roasted or burnt like a stout.

Pour on tap at the brewery is dark reddish brown, thin off white almost tan head. Aroma brought notes of some slight roast, hints of biscuit, toast, touch of coffee. Taste is not very interesting and fairly watery, touch of roast and coffee notes finish fairly bitter but carbed to push it through and leave little lingering.

Wheat Ridge (Denver) Co. - Applejack Liquors - 22 oz bomber. Pours a dark brown with a thin but persistent off-white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma has some roasted notes. a hint of nuttiness. Flavor has some caramel accents, a bit of marshmallows and vanilla and just a hint of chocolate to keep it in the Porter family. Mouthfeel has a nice creaminess to it.

Decent porter, way too carbonated. Pours black, with a good amount of head. Simplistic, a little oily and roasted. More of a serviceable porter, some bitterness.Bomber from Jason Bach in person.

draft at brewery. Pretty mild aroma, some light chocolate tones. Medium bodied, pretty smooth, but somewhat chalky. Flavor is all nestle cocoa powder - light, sweet cocoa tones dominate. This porter is not anything terribly interesting, but it’s not subpar.

22oz bomber from early fall trip to Silverthorne, CO. Things start out nicely with a deep black pour (cola colored in bright light) and a thin-to-moderate short-lived pale tan head. Aroma really wakes you up, with a deep mix of roasted almond, vanilla bean, and some medium-roast coffee beans...inviting! Flavor and finish both fall a little flat, with some nice common porter flavors up at first taste, but a bland note in the middle, then a wonky twist at the end that causes a pucker. Not a bad beer, but might have been better if opened sooner!

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2010 22 oz bomber purchased at Antlers in Frisco, Colorado. Best before N 10 marked on the bottle. Pour is a hazed brown black with a light tan two inch head. Aroma is mild roast, muted pine and a big soda mineral element. Taste is the nose, nice balance between mild roast and dry mineral with a hint of floral pine hop. Palate is medium to thin, crisp, dry and drinkable. Nice enough.

Dark pour out of the tap with a aroma of barley and malts. The taste was smooth and nutty.
