COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as "Peak One Porter," it is a complex recipe utilizing 6 Malts, and 2 varieties of hops to create a dark, creamy and most importantly, balanced flavored “Robust Porter”. A local favorite!

Dark deep brown pour with a thin light tan head. Smooth nose of cocoa and a touch of graham, gentle roast and black malt. Smooth and balanced flavor with some mild dark cocoa, breads toast, roast, gentle whispers of coffee, and finishes with a dry roastiness. Fairly standard run of the mill Porter. As it warms the chocolatiness comes through a bit more, but..eh.

Bottle. Very dark pour with a small off white head. Nice aroma of coffee and roast. Taste is a little disappointing compared to the aroma - something seems off.

Beer has a rich chocolate aroma with very low hop aroma and light esters. Beer poors black with a thin tan head. Flavor has a light sweetness, medium bitterness that is accentuated by the roasted malts. One the first drink, a light sour note is detected but fades quickly as the beer warms. Palate has a minor astringency, medium light body, creamy texture and average carbonation. Overall a nice porter, well done.
