3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Orange gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is grapefruity and floral hops. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and piney. A medium bitter IPA. More in the English style, smooth mellow flavors. Nicely balanced. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and a touch floral.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2005 22oz bottle. Hazy golden orange color, big earthy fresh hoppy citrus nose but the taste is a floral hop to me. Lighter on the palate than most. Drew rocks again!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at the pub: Orange body. Looks just like the wheat they had on draft. Citrusy (orange) aromas with touches of pine. Malts reminded me of cereal. Piney hops that were smooth, but never overwhelming. Clean finish with hoppy echoes.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bright, bitter, flowery and grassy aroma of pine needles, tangerines, orange and grapefruit.
The hops in this are nice. A pretty distinctive Pacific Northwest blend. Notes of grass, lemon, grapefruit, pine sap and orange. However, the malt backbone is just simply plain with no distinctive flavors and not much body.

this IPA rules! very hoppy, and smooth with a nice bite, no aftertaste, and plenty of alcohol. Next time you are in Frisco, drink a keg or two!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light amber brown, looks a little cloudy, good lacing. Aroma is hoppy - mostly floral but some citrus. Body is very malty - hops were overpowered and I was unhappy! Of course, this was on tap at the Ft.Collins Brew Fest, and I later bought a bottle - I’ll re-rate when I open the bottle!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22oz, bomber bottle,
Appearance: clear, amber hue, big, fresh, long-lasting foam atop. Shade is lighter than I like from an IPA, though.
Nose: immediate blast of pine resin and citrus, grapefruit, orange, pineapple, Wow!, big, beautiful hoppiness, a sweet, slightly bitter thing in the nose.
Taste: the barrage of hops continues again, from the instant the brew breaches the palate, big, bold, fresh, and fantastic. This exudes so much fruit, spills so much wondrous bounty through the senses, that one must merely relax, and luxuriate in it all. Damn, this is a fully-flavored, full-bodied, long in the finish type of IPA, and isn’ that my favorite kind, the kind that grasps fiercely in the senses and never feels like quitting? The kind that overflows with fruit and hops, without ever being over-poweringly bitter...
Yum, yummy, yu-u-u-u-ummm...
Gotta say, if I were garrisoned in Breckenridge for whatever reason, this would be my tipple, for sure!

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
The Telemark pours a light amber color with a smallish, frothy white head that quickly dissipated to a collar that left some lacing.
The aroma is some bitter hops with some grapefruit notes.
The taste is some sweetness up front with a pretty big bitter finish. It had some citrus as well. The flavor was a little off...kind of skunky. Not what I remembered from drinking it on tap at the brewpub.
It's a little watery and thin. Overall, I didn't care for this too much. I think I may have had a bad bottle though. Either that, or it was a lot better on tap.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Nice amber color with almost no head, but it has a great citrus/pine hop aroma. You'd think there would be more hops in the flavor. It starts out fairly mild condiering it's an IPA with a great aroma, then gives way to a malt back bone with lingering bitter hops that then fades quickly. A bit watery. Flavor has some caramel, pine tar, citrus, but it doesn't last long enough.
