3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Headbanger (2130) - Aurora, USA - SEP 20, 2007
22oz bomber-A medium clear amber body with a small head and an aroma of hops, grapefruit, and some slight pine. Taste of the same but pretty light. Not bad.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 arminjewell (3096) - Parker, Colorado, USA - JAN 30, 2012
Pour on tap at the brewery is slightly hazy orange with white head, aroma brings notes of pine, grass and orange peel, hints of biscuit to balance it out, slight lemon tones as well. Taste is a nice mix of pine and orange, hints of biscuit, finishes a bit off with a lack of bitterness or sweetness. Decent.
4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 missdev (15) - USA - NOV 10, 2011
Grassy, very light nose. Great color with persistent lacing. Very mild flavor with cereal in middle, earthy hop back. Resin does not linger. Very easy to drink. Much mellower on tap.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 dwaggs2 (1177) - Jefferson City, Missouri, USA - SEP 1, 2011
Bottle. Poured an orange color with no real head. Aroma was soap, floral and citrus. A friend brought this back from colorado. They never I loved IPA’s. This one had a very weak flavor with grapefruit, citrus, mettalic flavors, and soap. Medium body. Not the best IPA.
4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 cgarri (3) - Texas, USA - JUL 15, 2011 does not count
Very floral taste with muted hops for an IPA. I could either sip and savor this beer, or slam it to quench a thirst. It’s practically perfect.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 HoppityHop (149) - New Jersey, USA - APR 20, 2011
A truly above average IPA, especially for the lower alcohol content. Color leans towards yellow, but the flavor is very well balanced with malt and hops debating each other with every sip. Very, very enjoyable.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 tennessejed420 (865) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 17, 2011
draft at the brewery. Reddish gold with small white head. Aroma is mild, with some tropical hop tones showing through, mandarin orange. Balanced, sessionable, not exceedingly bitter. The seasonal pale ale they had was actually more bitter than this. Hops more floral in this medium bodied beer than in aroma. Overall not bad, not great.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 dionysian_son (227) - Colorado, USA - JAN 30, 2011
Not a bad IPA. Pours with a copper hue and white head. Nose with citrus and toasty malt. Medium bodied and carried by a full bed of medium roast malt and taken to finish with some resiny, grassy hop. Odd aftertaste of roast beef or porkchop, savory.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 bblack99 (515) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JAN 7, 2011
22oz bomber from Dillon Ridge in Dillon, CO. Clear pale orange pour with a moderate-thin off-white head. Aroma is heavy pine with a little fresh hay/grass. Flavor is similar, a little imbalanced due to an overdose of resin and flowery hops without a counterbalance of sugar or bready malt. A little muddy on the finish.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 adnielsen (3704) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 28, 2010
Tap at the brewery. Pours a light, clear burnt orange appearance with a creamy orange colored head. Piney hops in the nose. Piney, bushy hop flavored body with a palish amber malted body. Some bitterness and hops on the finish and aftertaste but not much.
3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Atom (686) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 25, 2010
Bomber pours amber/orange in color with off-white head. Aroma is really nice pine and spruce, grapefruit, and floral. Taste has a lot of hop, slight sweet into a bitter finish. For the most part a pretty standard IPA but it really has a wonderful nose.
