This was just not a well made beer at all. Smells, kind of funky and sweaty, from whatever type of spiciness was being used. LIght yeastiness, with very little residual flavor left over.

Pour on tap at the brewery is nice hazy yellow with fluffy white head, nice looking beer. Aroma and taste fall short however. Aroma has some wet grain, slight orange and fruit notes, no spice or balancing earth. Taste is the same wet grain, biscuit, hints of orange and ever so slight coriander, finishing sweet.

Fairly boring wheat beer. Not much flavor going on. Thankfully I threw an orange in it so it tastes like something.

bomber. Pours gold with frothy white head. Aroma is spiced wheat, cream, some soft lemon. Flavor is pretty much just wheat, although it does have a sort of richness, yet there is something slightly off about the finish, almost a macro flavor. Overall not horrible, but my least favorite backcountry offering so far.

Tap at the brewery. Light golden yellow appearance. Light wheat and citrus notes in the nose. Clean filtered wheat flavor with a touch of orange peel. Very smooth wheat.

Nothing wrong with a little light refresher! Bomber pours clear gold with a sudsy bright white head. Aroma is green grassy wheat with a touch of orange citrus. Coriander doesn’t sneak up the nose, but the spice is present on the tongue for sure. Light body, light flavor, light everything...but a nice summer refreshment.

A half way decent wheat but it needed some more flavor on the back end. The color was goldish and the aroma was a little fruity, but the taste wasn’t really great. A little too bland.

on tap at the backcountry brewery in frisco - damn good wheat beer - really smooth and great with a orange slice - yum
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 arrogantb (901) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 1, 2009
Golden yellow and clear with a miniscule white head that looks a little sticky. Smells a little fruity, taste is extra fruity maybe little too much so, mostly lemon, some lime oddly, but still a good summer beer. Drinkability is pretty good and it seems like there is no alcohol present in this beer.

Draft at the brewery. Besides the porter I thought this was in terms of the type of beer that they were attempting to brew probaly the second best. Wheaty, citrusy kind of a poor mans Oberon. Slighty but correctly spiced. Nice session brew

I did not like this one at a all. Tastes like someone’s first extract can homebrew. Sweet and grainy, with a fruity cereal malt texture and some light noble hoppiness. This one went horribly wrong somewhere along the way.
