Pours a three finger cream head that fades very slowly leaving a good lace. Almost clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Light pine hop nose, flavor is more grapefruit than pine, the Belgian yeast helps mellow the hops. Lingering bitter aftertaste. $8.49 for a 22oz from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, MA.

(22oz bomber, thanks Josh!) clearish deep/rich gold, soapy/fine offwhite lasting bubbles with solid lacing. Nose is fruity, white pepper, Belgian spicy yeast, lightly floral, malt shines through as well, balanced and smells nice! Taste is refreshing, lightly peppery, lovely carbonation, biscuity, light butter, tiniest bit floral, light stone fruit, and herbal as well. The refreshing aspect is welcome!

Pouring at Belgian Beer Fest. Pours a hazed orange amber with a thin white head. Catty citrus, faint musk, yeast. Medium bodied, spicy hops, thins out and gets a bit empty. Toast, malt, spicy yeast. Long earthy bitterness, heavy quinine and grapefruit.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a smooth powdery malt with coriander, orange pulp and Belgian hops. In mouth, a smooth dry crisp herbaceous malt with nice herbal and citrus hops, very nice. Tasted at Drink Craft Beer Summerfest Fest, July 14 2012.

Bottle courtesy of brendan shared with Andrew, Brendan and Max. Pours a light brownish amber body with white head / lacing. Aroma is stringent Belgian yeast. Mouthfeel is carbonated and lightly bitter, somewhat offensive with notes of belgian spice, light yeast, caramel malts.

Bottle from Brighton somewhere split w Andy James Max. Light brown pour with off-white head, Belgian yeasty aroma and earthy Belgian malt palate. Not a lot to it, straightforward Belgian with modest hop profile and an earthy malty base. Not memorable. Label is chill as fuck, though.

Hazy golden pour orange hue thin white soapy head .... aroma of fruity belgian, citrusy hops and hop oils .... taste is of spicy floral hops and belgian fruity yeast ... mouthfeel is a little lively ... some grassy hop notes and a citrusy hop oil bite to it .... the belgian fruity yeast gives off very light banana tones ... dry hoppy spicy lingering bite ... not bad ... bottled Feb 2012 Batch 3

Pours a golden amber color with big three finger head that shows some lacing and rides out for a good duration. Aromas are subtle and deliver some earthy malts, corn and a hint of yeasty fruit. On the palate its high carbonation tingles the tongue and alot of the flavors seem a bit muted because of this. Maybe too much yeast ? Anyhow the flavors that are there are certainly more Belgian than traditional IPA... the hop profile is very tucked into the background... with just a slight dry bitter finish. The midpalate is full of those hints at earthy malts, fresh straw, toast, clove and herbal spice

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours dirty brownish golden with a thick, lacy, off-white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, some caramel malts, and a good amount of citrusy hops. Flavor about the same, with a good blend of everything. Average texture. A pretty good beer.
