On tap at Bukowski’s Tavern. Took a sip from my buddies glass. Good hop aroma with the slightest hint of citrus. Seemed like a very good session-able IPA.

Pours a golden amber color with big three finger head that shows some lacing and rides out for a good duration. Aromas are subtle and deliver some earthy malts, corn and a hint of yeasty fruit. On the palate its high carbonation tingles the tongue and alot of the flavors seem a bit muted because of this. Maybe too much yeast ? Anyhow the flavors that are there are certainly more Belgian than traditional IPA... the hop profile is very tucked into the background... with just a slight dry bitter finish. The midpalate is full of those hints at earthy malts, fresh straw, toast, clove and herbal spice

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours dirty brownish golden with a thick, lacy, off-white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, some caramel malts, and a good amount of citrusy hops. Flavor about the same, with a good blend of everything. Average texture. A pretty good beer.

A cloudy light orange-yellow brew. Good white head that goes to lacing. Aroma is fruity and definately characteristic of a Belgian yeast strain. Flavor is bright and citrusy with lots more yeasty character. Not very hoppy at all, but well balanced. Very interesting and quite drinkable. Don’t try to compare this to a mainstream American-style IPA. This is in a different class.

22oz Bottle. Thanks for sharing, Josh. Aroma is a dry grassy and lightly phenolic melange of dried citrus peel. Wow, the body really falls away quickly in this and the acerbic dryness of the Belgian base combined the the grass-like nature of the hops puts this one out of balance, in my opinion. There’s also a slight edge of staleness to the hops and an overall lack of flavor. The Belgian yeast quality feels like the yeast was unhealthy.

Bomber with a cap and white wax served in a tulip. Pours a clear golden color with plenty of visible effervescent carbonation and a nice off-white head with good retention and quite a bit of ringy lacing on the way down. The nose brings some faint Belgian spice along with notes of citrus and earth from the hops. Interesting, though not super-intriguing. The flavor pushes those same hop and yeast notes, but then follows that up with a good dosage of backing grain, which I’m not huge on. Body is medium with good carbonation and a solid bitterness through the finish. Just a touch of grainy tannins in the background. Not bad, though not something I’d likely seek out again.

On tap. Slightly hazy orange, medium white head. Aroma citrusy hops and maybe a little yeast. Medium body. Flavor is somewhat bitter but also a lot of sweetness predominated by citrus hops with almost tropical fruit character and also some malt. Pretty good.

Sampled at Brew Woo. Pours deep, clear gold with a one finger frothy white head. Some lace. Belgian yeast & spice aroma. Yeasty & hoppy flavor with dry, somewhat bitter finish. Very nice. Wouldn’t mind finding a few bottles of this.

Cloudy golden color with a rocky white head. Smells fairly Belgian: lots of spice (cloves) and yeast notes. Quite a bit of banana in there, but not much in the way of hops. Lots of sweet bread as well. Slightly watery with a mild bitterness. Otherwise, no hop character on the palate. Lots and lots of banana, quite a bit of sweet malt, and a moderate yeast quality. Not bad, but not really an IPA either.

Bomber poured into a weizen glass (I know, wrong glass, but it was all I had available. Pours a lovely hazy orange with . The nose is laced with yeast and citrus, especially orange peel. The citrus hop really come through upon tasting, balanced almost perfectly with a bitterness - both aspects pleasant without being overpowering. Finishes crisp and clean - a killer sessionable ipa.

Thanks warriorsoul for this new brewery’s bottle. It pours thick amber with a dull orange hue and huge off white head. The aroma is delicious bready and Belgian yeast with some sweet IPA notes. The flavor is similar, the hops are present moreso at the end with a light sweet bitter hoppy presence. The Belgian yeast flavor acts as a base for this beer on this solid satiating body..
