The Dunkel is a dark (dunkel is German for Dark) lager from the great beer halls of Munich. It has a malty slightly roasted flavor and a smooth finish. This is the darkest of our regular beers.
Note: Formerly Einfach Dunkel.

12oz bottle. Aroma is a dark, sour malt. Appearance is a medium bronze with a little head. Taste is a brown. That's about it. Palate is even. Overall, a lacking beer. Expected more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The smell on this is a bit off, but I like this more than most lagers. I'm scared that they call this their "darkest beer." Color wise it is dark, but taste wise it is nothing. Invest in a stout, Backpocket. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 fl oz bottle. From Iowa. A big thank you goes to John M.
Clear amber colour with a small white head. Sweet malt aroma with mild bitterness. The flavour is hops, mild bitterness, lots of sweetness and toasted malt. Nothing really wrong with this one.

P-medium carbonation and malt body is rich. Hop character is slight herbal. O-Very easy drinking Dunkel. For the style it is done very well.

Fair tasting Dunkel. Nice color, decent aroma, but did not translate over in taste. Skip this one.

Brownish pour with sticky white head. Carmel smell and taste. Skunky taste. I guess I just don't like this style.
