On tap at the brewpub/bowling alley. Pours a dark amber brown brew with an off-white, almost beige head. Fast dissolving head and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is a little complex with scents of Brazillian nuts, sweet caramel, medium roasted malt and a touch of olive oil. Taste has a good balance of carbonation and medium body with a dry hoppy finish.
1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 DiscoForever (71) - Dunedin, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 16, 2005
Roasted aroma with prunes. Looks like a rootbeer with no head - clear like iced tea. Taste: initially punchy and sour lactic thing that grows to unpleasantness. Nutty like roasted chestnuts (I think). After taste is of stale cheese and the body is not so hot either. Grew on me a little as I drank, but it’s really not great.

On tap at the Brewpub. Dark amber to light brown ale. Beige head. Giant bubbles. Milky aroma. Thick sweetness. Is there lactose in this? Slight hazelnut flavor. The sweetness is awesome. Slight diacyl off-flavor.
