Classic golden ale with a twist. Light and refreshing with a blend of hops offering hints of spice and lime. Infused with fresh root ginger to add a touch of the exotic.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. ABV4.4%. Also no mention of ginger. "Smooth golden bitter, Citra and Styrian hops give an intense citrus, tropical fruit experience" apparently. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas are lemon and soap. Taste is herbal lemon, light grapefruit. Thin body, clean finish. OK.

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2012. Clear amber pour with a thin white broken head. Fruity aroma leading into a smooth bitter flavour with a hint of citrus which was not what I expected at at all. The hops work really well with this beer to produce a very refreshing ale.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Initially quite dry and grainy, almost a raw barley type flavour. This smooths and a pleasant leafy hop note takes over, reasonably crisp. Decent drinkable golden beer.
